Case details
This request came from a client of Polish origin who has been living in Australia for several years. As All Saints’ Day approached, she realized that she would not be able to travel to Poland this year to visit her family graves (something that had always been deeply important to her and almost every Polish person). Being physically far away made the situation emotionally difficult, as she wanted to ensure that her relatives were remembered and honored properly.
She asked for local support in Poland to take care of everything on her behalf. My role was to handle the matter independently, from start to finish, with care and respect for the occasion. I began by finding and coordinating with a reliable local company to clean all of the family graves. At the same time, I selected and worked with a local florist to prepare appropriate floral arrangements that reflected the client’s wishes.
Once the decorations were ready, I personally collected them and delivered them to the cemetery. I arranged the flowers at the graves, ensured everything was prepared neatly, and lit candles the day before All Saints’ Day, as requested. Throughout the process, I kept the client informed and made sure every detail was handled exactly as agreed.
Although the client could not be physically present, the support allowed her to feel connected to her family traditions and confident that everything in Poland had been taken care of with dignity, attention, and respect.
